Fix square boxes in PDF text: catalogue guide

A catalogue usually has fixed fields and aligned columns, so replacing whole lines keeps it looking original.

Steps

  1. Open the PDF.
  2. Retype the affected line.
  3. The editor fills missing glyphs.
  4. Save.

Tip: Square boxes mean the font lacks that character.

Keep the original font, weight and spacing when editing a PDF, and understand embedded and subset fonts.
